he says this album is NOT about his relationship at the time, but it's so prevalent in most of the songs. Blood on the Tracks is my favorite album by him. the title itself, at least to me, is a play on words. the "Blood" not being on railroad tracks, per see, but the "Tracks" on the album. the Songs are the Tracks. it wasn't obvious to me until after i heard the whole album
